Women's Ministries Mission Outreach
Each of our Women's Ministry programs encourages women to reach out to those in need by supporting Nancy's Place Women's Shelter, a branch of Faith Mission in Columbus Ohio. The residents of Nancy's Place are provided overnight shelter, three meals a day and case management services necessary to assist them in the areas of health care, education, and job resources. Along with donations of toiletries and basic necessities needed for use by the women during their stay, the shelter also accepts donations of household items necessary to assist the women in moving from the shelter into an apartment of their own. Nancy's Place also offers apartments on the 3rd floor of the shelter as permanent housing for women with mental or physical disabilities. For more information, see www.faithmissionofohio.org (Programs - Women's Shelter).
Two to three times each year, a delivery of donated items is made to the shelter. At this time, guided tours are given of the facility as well as an overview of the services provided.
Are you interested in helping with a delivery of donated items and a tour of Nancy's Place? Are you interested in ways you can assist the shelter, either through volunteering your time or through donations?
