Give God Thanks Sunday, November 9, 2014
With Our First Move
When we consider all that our good God has done for us, our obvious first response is to give Him thanks.
We are beginning a new sermon series today entitled, "Give God Thanks" and we're very excited to have our good friend David Drees here to kick off the series. In this month of thanksgiving it is appropriate for us to explore more deeply how and why it is that we give God our thanks.

In this series, Pastor Steve explores Biblical practices that will help unclutter our souls in this busy world. This series is in conjuction with our first Pathways study, "Simplify: Ten Practices to Unclutter Your Soul" by Pastor Bill Hybels.
Unexpected Saints All-Saints Sunday, November 2, 2014
Throughout his ministry, Jesus taught with words and by his own example that in God’s economy those who are considered blessed are not those we would expect to be lifted up as people who are blessed and noteworthy. It is the little, the least, the last, the lost, and the dead who are lifted up as blessed saints. Today Pastor Steve explores how we don’t become saints through heroic actions, but rather we are lifted up as saints through being forgiven our sin and brokenness.
We apologize for the little pops and crackles in the sound audio this week. We are working to fix the problem.

Free Reformation Sunday, October 26, 2014
Through his death and resurrection, Jesus sets us free from our bondage to sin, death, and the power of the evil one. On this Reformation Sunday, Pastor Steve refreshes this basic understanding of the Christian faith, what we call the gospel message.

For four weeks during this summer we will seek to answer four frequently asked questions that people ask about Christianity, or life, or religion in general. Even When We Can't See June 22, 2014
The sermon this week was provided by guest preacher, David Drees, former Young Life Director at Ohio State.
This week we look at the story of Lazarus and how in it Christ displays his compassion, his perfect timing, and all around love for his people. The ultimate goal is for people to start to deal with where they see disappointment in their life and ask "if only you..." to god. And how we can start to work through that and see god is not only for us but actively proving this to us!

God Has Acted: Now What??? June 15, 2014
The sermon this week was provided by guest Pastor Wayne Harrison. Pastor Steve is on vacation this week.
Our Christian lives are in response to God's gift of Himself, as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. We respond with our gifts and acts of love not to earn God's, but because God has already loved and given.
