
Giving at St. Luke
At St. Luke, we encourage and appreciate generous giving because we know that giving is an expression of healthy spirituality. Generous giving is at the heart of God, and as followers of Christ, we give in response to all that God has first given us.
Ways to Give

Person
You can bring cash or a check to church on Sunday mornings and give them during the offering.
Simply Giving
This is a way to have your giving auto-drafted from your bank account. To do this, please pick up a form from the church office.
Other Ministries That St. Luke Supports
As a church, we practice what we preach and tithe from the donations that we receive. Below are some of the individuals and organizations that St. Luke donates money or goods to.

Cru: Tini Horning
Tini Horning lives in Freiburg, Germany, reflecting God’s through Cru. She is the leader of the MyFriends Ministry in Germany which aims to spread God’s love and a missional lifestyle on the local, regional and national levels.

Wycliffe Bible Translators: Kim and Annie Colich
The Colich's serve in Papua New Guinea in Bible translation, literacy and Scripture use among the Tami people. Kim works with 2 Tami men and 2 Tami women up at Ukarumpa translating the Bible into the native language. Annie facilitates Women’s Bible studies.

Moriah Home: India
Rt. Rev. G Shalem Raju directs and oversees the management of the both Moriah Children’s Home and Moriah High School. The home provides full-time care for 20+ children who have lost at least one parent and are in need of reliable care and safe living conditions. The school provides educational services to over 200 underserved children.

German Partnership
We started a partnership in November 2016 with a Lutheran church, Kirchengemeinde Warder in Rohlstorf, Germany. We visit, pray, and keep in contact with one another.

Lutheran Social Services
Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a faith-based, health and human services organization that provides housing, health care and emergency assistance to thousands of people every day with programs that serve the whole person and respond to some of our community’s most serious challenges.

Gahannna Residents in Need
GRIN 4 GAHANNA is dedicated to helping children who are hungry in our community. They provide food assistance to people in need. St. Luke specifically helps through special food drives and providing one week of summer lunches for children and families.

Lutheran World Relief
Lutheran World Relief is an outreach arm of the ELCA. As a congregation we collect and assemble items for kits that are sent around the world to people in distress. We specifically collect items for school kits and personal care kits.

Afghanistan Youth National Development & Social Organization
St. Luke has sent funds for our outreach mission to Afghanistan. As a result of that effort, aid in the form of food was provided to a group of families.
