Whether you attend Pathways at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. in the Traditional Sanctuary, you can expect to meet more adults from the church, learn how to apply God's word to your everyday life, and experience love and support through prayer. Pathways meets weekly throughout the school year.

Follow by Andy Stanley
(September 20, 2015 - November 8, 2015)

Lots of people think Christianity is all about doing what Jesus says. But what if doing what Jesus says isn't what Jesus says to do at all? His invitation is an invitation to relationship, and it begins with a simple request: follow me.

Religion says "Change and you can join us." Jesus says, "Join us and you will change." There's a huge difference. Jesus doesn't expect people to be perfect. He just wants them to walk with him. Being a sinner doesn't disqualify anyone. Being an unbeliever doesn't disqualify anyone. In fact, those points of imperfection are the only places we can start.

In this eight-session video-based Bible study, bestselling author and pastor Andy Stanley takes you on a journey through the Gospels as he traces Jesus' teaching on what it means to follow.

Christian by Andy Stanley

(November 15, 2015 - January 24, 2016)

According to Andy Stanley, the words used to describe Christians today often bear no resemblance to what Jesus wanted his followers to be known for.

In Christian, participants will learn:

* What one word should be descriptive of every Christian

* How Jesus followers should treat those who are outside the faith

* Why people love Jesus but can’t stand his followers

In this eight-session video-based Bible study, Andy explores the truth and fiction behind one of the most famous brands in all of history.

Altar Ego by Craig Groeschel

(January 31, 2016 - February 28, 2016)

You are NOT who you think you are. In fact, according to bestselling author Craig Groeschel in Altar Ego, you need to take your idea of your own identity, lay it down on the altar, and sacrifice it. Give it to God. Offer it up.

Why? Because you are who GOD says you are. And until you’ve sacrificed your broken concept of your identity, you won’t become who you are meant to be.

When we place our false labels and self-deception on the altar of God’s truth, we discover who we really are as his sons and daughters. Instead of an outward-driven, approval-based ego, we learn to live with an “altar” ego, God’s vision of who we are becoming.

Discover how to trade in your broken ego and unleash your altar ego to become a living sacrifice. Once we know our true identity and are growing in our Christ-like character, then we can behave accordingly, with bold behavior, bold prayers, bold words, and bold obedience.

Altar Ego reveals who God says you are, and then calls you to live up to it.

The Life You've Always Wanted

by John Ortberg

(March 6, 2016 - April 17, 2016)

The heart of Christianity is transformation---a relationship with God that impacts not just our "spiritual lives," but every aspect of living. John Ortberg calls you back to the dynamic heartbeat of Christianity---God's power to bring change and growth---and reveals both the how and why of transformation.

With a new chapter on prayer and added discussion questions, this expanded edition of The Life You've Always Wantedoffers modern perspectives on the ancient path of the spiritual disciplines. But this is more than just a book about things to do to be a good Christian. It's a road map toward true transformation that starts not with the individual but with the object of the journey---Jesus Christ.
